Kick up your heels at the 7th Annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes, Sunday, April 26th 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Morton Park in Charleston, Illinois. Designed to raise awareness and empathy for individuals impacted by sexual violence, this event is open to folks of all genders and ages. Wear a pair of heels, sandals, comfy sneakers, flip flops or stilettos (if you dare!) or add some bling to your wheels and join us for this easy one-mile trek. Take Back The Night
Take Back the Night March: The annual Take Back the Night March takes place every April, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness month. TBTN is intended to increase awareness about sexual violence that occurs within our own community, and is also an opportunity to come out to show support for survivors. Members of the campus and community will gather together to walk as a unit through Charleston and the Eastern Illinois University campus, showing that all people should be able to walk freely, day or night, without the threat of violence. Come join us! We will be posting the date and information about how you can get involved as we get closer to April!
Take Back the Day 5k Walk/Run
SACIS 6th Annual TAKE BACK THE DAY 5K RUN/WALK

WHERE: Sister City Park (18th Street/Rt. 130) Charleston
SACIS’ Annual Rock Out Against Rape (ROAR) is a community event with live music, silent auction, tasty hor d’oeurves and sweet treats, a cash bar, a wine pull, a photo station, and most importantly, the best company around! There is no cost to attend this event.
We will also be announcing the recipients of our Mark Shaklee Men for Change Award!
